It's not too much taller. I say 1 inch at the very max 2 inches taller... 1.5"?
I am 5'10" and the highest point was mid neck.
Old school T5 !
Just slightly taller than an old V70
Super dirty from transport. I remember when I worked for Lexus that they arrived in a badass delivery vehicle. It was a covered truck with sliding side doors and an opening rear hatch. It was all black and it had a Lexus badge on each side of the trailer with the words, "Pursuit of Perfection" So rad! Our Aston and Lotus are delivered by a 3rd party exotic transport 18 wheeler that resembles the Lexus truck. Volvo and Merc are just open air and the cars are filthy.

WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?

CC/XC cars tends to be just 1 or 2 inches taller, so I think you're correct.

Good sensor placement here. Other brands can learn from this

Supposedly, the V60 is 58.4 inches tall, and the CC is 60.8 inches tall. That means the height difference should be 2.4 inches.

Man, I wish I hadn't just left work. We got a V60 CC in silver a few days ago. I'm finishing up the PDI clean tomorrow morning. Not a bad height for a car, unlike the Forester it seems more like a lifted wagon than a crossover.

I also forgot to say, everything at Land Rover/Jaguar/Volvo shows up open air. Only the F-Types and the Evoques come to us wrapped. They all shine up the same, though.

Active cruise. All the City Safety wizardry is behind the rear view mirror.

I like it. Dat bootay.

Still good placement. I struggled with whether to use "camera" or "sensor" then I remembered that a sensor isn't a camera, but a camera is a sensor :)

What's with the old International?

Just something funky to point out...up in nj where my dad got his S60 in 2011, every single volvo came in super wrapped and covered to the point you couldnt tell color or trim.. even the rims were covered..
down in fl, they come just like yours, naked and dirty!

REAR DRUMS!?

Does is the thing Volvo seemingly puts in front of the brakes during transport? I've always wondered when I see new Volvo's sitting on dealer lots.

Nah, just dust coveres for transport. Front and back
![]() 03/21/2015 at 14:38 |

Yeah they are like a insulated plastic just for transport (dust protection?). The car is in transport mode so it can't go above 20mph. We just reach in a spoke and rip them off when done.

sometimes they take the covers off at port and sometimes they don't. It's really 50/50

Belongs to our owner. It getting a detail believe it or not. It looks rad!
